Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

The Android users can finally cheer as the Zombies mode of the game has been announced to be available on Android devices too. Since December 2011, IOS users had an edge over the Android using counterparts the block buster game was only available on IOS operating systems. Now, Activision, the marketing partner of Call of Duty: Black Ops has revealed that the game shall be available in Android applications and devices too. Call of duty Zombies version with some of its unique features will be available on Android but only on Sony’s Xperia series for the first month.

While the introduction of Call of Duty in Android may sound pleasant to fans that have Android devices, the restricted availability of the game towards Sony Xperia S, Xperia Ion and Xperia play may seem like an imposition on the awaiting fans. However, something is better than nothing – the game is finally available on Android and will be available on Google play and other media after a month.

Call of Duty in Android is a result of Ideaworks Game Studio adapting the game for Android and it is being distributed by Glu Mobile Inc. Activision Publishing Inc. which has been marketing Call of Duty has expressed excitement over the partnership with Ideaworks Game Studio and Glu Mobile.

Since Zombies have been introduced to Call of Duty franchise, it has been a hit with the CoD fans community and has become much sought after version of the game. Unlike versions for other operating systems, the Zombie version for Android has some unique features that would not be found in the rest. Players will find thrilling maps like Ascension, Kino Der Troten as well as Call of the Dead: Directors cut. That is not all, the 50-level gauntlet mode, Dead-Ops Arcade, will also be available from Call of Duty: Black Ops. While the game is always playable by single player, the thrill and excitement is further multiplied by the multi-player mode of CoD Zombies.

With the provision of Call of Duty in Android, Treyarch, the developers of the game, are focused to bring the real-life simulation of the battlefield. Changes have been introduced into the game to achieve this effect not only as visual effect but as Audio effect too. The developers have technologically gone as far as possible to provide the ultimate game sound irrespective of the type and quality of speakers the gamers use. The experience, obviously, cannot be exactly equal any kind of speaker or ear phone, but still decent effort has been made to provide great sound for all devices. Players with surround sound systems and other advanced devices will find the Call of Duty in Android an experience like never before. Moreover, users can choose to enhance the experience of single-player mode of in-game Call of Duty Point System. Players will be able to unlock additional areas and add more weapons to their kit through the six tiers of in-app purchase option available with CoD Zombies.
