Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Like the previous three versions of Call of Duty, Black Ops II is also produced by Treyarch and published by Activision. From the official trailers, the game appears to be different in more than one aspect from its earlier versions. Though Black Ops 2 game-play and guide can be found on the internet, this may also prove quite helpful for the enthusiasts of CoD in understanding the game before they experience it.

Unlike its previous versions, Black Ops 2 is not a linear military shooter game. The developers have branched main story into a number of Strike Force missions which has removed all sorts of predictability of the winner. The game does not jump the player to the next level; instead it allows him to choose one from a group of missions. For each such mission, players are assigned a team to deal with the situation. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 assures to provide simulation of real-life battle-field by placing the gamer at the viewpoint of the character he/ she plays. However, the player can zoom-out whenever he wants to get an overview of the situation. These help the players to direct troops and vehicles and take necessary actions depending upon the situation. Black Ops II is believed to give completely dynamic experience of gaming where the favourable characters may die permanent deaths and strategies and relations will be influenced by the choices of mission undertaken by the player.

Black Ops II is a sequel to Black Ops and is set mostly in 2025. However, to connect the sequel to its prequel, some plots of BO-II are set in 1970s-80s. The game is centred on the rivalry between the US and China, which has emerged as a super power in future. In the game, rare Earth elements that are required for most electronics and weaponry replace oil as the utmost important natural resource. Alex Mason, the main character of Black Ops is also present in the game; however, the main hero is his son David Mason. Besides, Frank Woods, the character which was assumed to have died in BO has also been introduced. A new villain has also introduced in Black Ops 2 who, with layered personality, is unlike any regular villain. The villain is named Raul Menendez who has attacked the US cyber world and has initiated its drones on attacking the home-country. Ultra hi-tech weaponry, drones, advanced aircrafts and vehicles, etc. make BO-II an ultimate action game.

Though this could be regarded as CoD Black Ops 2 gameplay and guide, but since major revelations have not been announced, the exact plot and strategy to be deployed in the game cannot be specifically jotted down by anyone. In the multiplayer mode, call of Duty: Black Ops II promises to traverse every aspect of multi-player mode to eliminate linearity from the game. Last, but not the least, Zombies have again been introduced in the game in a way that the developers have promised it to be their ‘most ambitious Zombies project’.
